KANZI® APPLE BURGER

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Kanzi® apple

  • 4 rashers lean bacon

  • 2 burger buns

  • 2 beefburgers

  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil

  • 5g dill

  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise

  • 1 tbsp thick yoghurt

  • 1 small tomato

  • 4 leaves romaine lettuce

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preparation: 25 minutes

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Remove the core of the Kanzi® apple with a corer. Cut the apple in thin slices. Place the slices next to each other on a baking tray covered in baking paper.
  3. Place the bacon on the apple slices and cook them in the preheated oven for 10 min.
  4. Cut the burger buns in half and put them in the oven with the apple for approx. 3 min.
  5. Cook the beefburgers in the oil in a frying pan in accordance with the instructions on the packaging.
  6. Finely chop the dill and mix in a bowl with the mayonnaise and yoghurt. Add salt and pepper as required. Cut the tomato in slices.
  7. Spread the dill-mayonnaise onto the buns then add, after each other, the romaine leaves, a slice of apple and bacon, the beefburger, another slice of apple and bacon and slices of tomato. Cover with the top of the bun and hold together with a bamboo mini-skewer.
